Turn iPod into iPhone with Apple Peel 520
There has been much hype surrounding the launch of the Apple Peel 520. Many owners of the iPod touch are especially excited, and for them, this is as good as the next big thing. It's technology that could turn iPod into iPhone, and it could do so at a very economical cost.

So, what exactly is the Apple Peel 520, you may ask. It's a protective case made for the iPod touch, containing a dock connector, 800mAh battery, and SIM card which allows for voice calls. For text messaging, and to allow the device to work properly, users will have to jailbreak into the iPod software and download the necessary apps ("Yosion" and "YsSMS"). The 800mAh battery, when fully charged will offer nearly 5 hours of talk time and 120 hours of standby use.
The innovative wrap around case was invented by 22-year-old Chinese programmer, Pan Yong. During an interview with CNN, Yong explained that he created the Apple Peel 520 because he loved the iPhone, but felt it was too expensive. A sentiment shared by so many has helped to advance Yong's device far beyond the confines of China, and right into the anxious, awaiting embrace of the US market.
